WHY THE NONTRAD LOUNGE WAS CREATED As nontraditional students ourselves, we were excited to create an all-in-one resource and networking site for students like us. We know the struggles that nontraditional students face and how hard it can be to connect with like-minded peers and get the resources and support you need. We are also aware of the time constraints that nontrads face every day. That is why our goal was to create a digital online lounge, where with one simple click, you can gain access to the things that are relevant and important to you! Because we are a new site, we hope that you will help us spread the word about the NonTrad Lounge so that we can continue to grow and offer even more resources and opportunities through our site. ABOUT THE ADMINISTRATORS  Lisa Jones is a 27 year-old senior at Central Washington University in Washington State. She is studying public relations and business administration. With a husband and two school-aged children, Lisa knows what it is like to constantly be on the go while balancing work, family and personal time with college life. Lisa has been working with other nontraditional students at her college since 2004. Some of her experience includes writing for a nontraditional student department newsletter and organizing large-scale and small-scale events specifically designed for nontraditional students. Lisa is the Web site manager here at the NonTrad Lounge.
 Angela McCurdy is a 27 year-old freshman at Pearl River Community College in Mississippi. She is studying Pre nursing. Married with 3 active school-aged children, Angela knows how important it is to balance her priority of family time with the demands of college. Angela is the Forum manager here at the NonTrad Lounge.
